Exmouth Vikings Judo Club has wrapped up another remarkable season filled with dedication, growth, and impressive achievements. This year, the club proudly recognizes five young judokas who have earned their places on the Vikings competitive squad. Their hard work and commitment have set a strong example for all members. Alongside these standout athletes, every judoka at the club has advanced to their next grading, reflecting the collective effort and passion that defines the Vikings community.

Rising Stars of the Vikings Competitive Squad


This season, five judokas have distinguished themselves through consistent training and competition success. Their ages range from six to thirteen, showing that talent and determination come at any age. The squad members are:


  • Tahnee (6 years old)

  • Alex (6 years old)

  • Nicholas (8 years old)

  • Hugo (8 years old)

  • Caid (13 years old)


Each of these athletes has demonstrated remarkable progress in their judo techniques and competitive mindset. Their journey involved mastering throws, holds, and escapes, all while building confidence and resilience.


The Importance of Competition Experience


Competition is where training meets challenge. For the Vikings squad members, stepping onto the mat in front of judges and opponents has been a valuable experience. It has helped them:
